More: "Cy" was an amazing dog - highly intelligent, athletic, strong, loving and with a sense of humor. He left us just before Christmas and as much as we miss him, we are blessed to have had him in our lives for over 14 yrs on our property in the Green Mountains. He was a dog of the forest and stream relishing every fern frond, new baby spruce, animal tracks and paddling around in the pools of Dragon Brook. This photo is of Cy at the age of 7 weeks on his first trip into the forest where he was initiated into the fragrance of spruce, fern and moss.
