More: Daisy’s mother was a stray dog who had a little of puppies in the woods outside our neighborhood. We live in rural Alabama. We saw the puppies repeatedly but the mother would not let us get close to them. One night, our daughter successfully lured Daisy with French fries and gave her to us. She was covered with ticks and fleas. Now, she is a healthy and very loved dog. She loves playing outside (we live in a lake), is always “on guard” but also thinks every visitor is here to love on her. She is the best dog ever!
