More: Dakota is the classic Border Collie. He was born on a farm where they train Border Collies to work on ranches. He stays outside all the time (except on cold nights) because that’s where he’s happiest. We have a big yard and Dakota feels it’s his job to protect us and keep us safe. In this photo he was sitting on the steps waiting for our daughter to come home from college. He’s very serious about his job! Even though he’s almost 13, he’s in great health and we believe it’s due to his active life style running and playing in the great outdoors!
