More: Deacon was my sister’s gift to me for my 40th birthday. He was a rescue and was 3 months old when I got him. I took him everywhere with me, he loved to fetch and swim. I never had a dog just look at me as much as he did. Sadly, he developed kidney disease that I treated for a year before having to put him down. He was the gold standard best dog! Thank you.
