More: Dixie is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I rescued her when she was a puppy from a local shelter in Rutland Vermont. She was originally from an over-crowded shelter down south and was moved to Vermont where I found her. She was very timid at first but is coming out of her shell. Her bark used to scare her. That’s all in the past now. She loves people, but she loves dogs more! Her favorite thing to do is go on the ice with us ice fishing and zoom to each tip-up for fish. Also, she loves laying by the fire after a cold day.
