More: 6 months prior to finding Doc I was diagnosed with very bad asthma. It was a mystery. No real illness or allergies? I had lost my best friend Sally ( my border collie) who was 25 and died of cancer. My doctors felt like the grief and loss played a big roll in my illness. My doctor told me, I know you will feel better when you can get another dog. They are good medicine!! So that’s what I did and that’s how he got his name!!! I am off my breathing machine! Doc goes to work with me everyday and honestly doesn’t leave my side!!! Definitely a gift from above!
