More: Earl is a very alert, obedient & smart boy . He is always on guard to make sure people social distance from us but once you pass the sniff test, you’re welcome to stay a while. During his younger years, he was very active, chasing balls & retrieving them from the creek & ocean. Earl enjoys scavenger hunts for treats, hidden around the house. He has a charming way of communicating. He will put his paw on your knee & stare at you when he wants to go outside, or play. Earl is slowing down at 12 yrs old & has had a cruciate ligament repair. We still see the puppy in him when he gets “happy feet”, a sudden burst of energy, like a bucking bronco. I pray, that we are blessed with a few more, great years with Earl. We love our boy!
