More: October 2, 2010 I went to buy food for my Goldens - Georgie and Frankie - and found a rescue event. I held Ella for a moment and that was it. I brought her home to meet her brothers - 4-1/2 and 2 years old - and they bonded immediately. We lost Georgie and Frankie to cancer in August 2019 and October 2020 and, like me, Ella misses them terribly. Ella is a love - a true comfort dog to canines and humans. She and I are so very grateful to Orvis for its support of canine cancer research.
