More: I fell in love with Elsa at first sight; her joie de vivre is obvious! Elsa is a rescue. She had not been physically abused, but she was emotionally neglected and virtually untrained before I adopted her at the age of 10 months. From the moment she entered our home, Elsa knew she was a member of our family. We attended dog obedience school and public pack walks. We take her on hikes and car rides and bike rides and camping trips, exposing her to all the things that a family dog does and can do. From the moment she wakes up, every morning is a joy for Elsa. She reminds us to seize the day and to welcome new experiences whenever they come along.
