More: Elsa (white dog) was born blind. She suffers from IBS, skin issues, heart problems, thyroid issues and chronic ear infections, yet she enjoys life to the fullest. Violet had two puppies at one year old and then was sent to the shelter where they planned to euthanize her. A rescue saved her. My family offered to foster. We had no intention to adopt because we feared another dog would cause stress for Elsa. The size difference scared us too. We work hard every day to keep peace in the castle. We officially adopted Violet in November.
