More: We welcomed Ember into our home in May of this year and she's been nothing but an absolute treasure to my fiancé and I. We are active people and wanted a best friend to accompany us on all our activities (kayaking, skiing, hiking, running etc.) and she totally fits the part. This picture was from our first day out on the Manasquan River in New Jersey and Ember absolutely loved everything about being out. Paddling by huge fishing boats, swimming in the waves and even hearing a little thunder in the distance never even phased her. Life is too short to be anything but exciting, our pup agrees.
