More: We got Evie from the shelter in our area. She was around 10 months old when we got her. The animal control team said she had been on her own for a while. We know she was abused and was more than likely bred for fighting because she was afraid of other dogs and anything that sounds like a gun shot. It’s taken a year, but she now trusts other dogs and people. She’s very loving and happy.
