More: Finn was a rescue. The family that brought him in said he was too much work. He was a year old at that time and was much work because puppy’s are! Finn was at the rescue for 6 months until we fell in love with him. When we got him home the poor boy would poop in his crate. The vet said he was probably left in a crate for over 12 hours a day so he had to go in his crate and just became normal for him. We stopped crating him and put him in bathroom when we left until we started letting him stay out for short periods of time and within a month we never crated him again. He was the easiest dog we’ve ever had. He suffers from pancreatic issues and we have to have him on special food and no treats. He was in the hospital for a few days a couple years ago and we watch him carefully. He’s a strong boy which we would move the world for.
