Fletcher and Marmot

Best Buds

More: Fletcher is an aussie we bought after our daughter was attacked by a moose (we lived in Alaska) he was the ultimate hero dog as well as being as sweet as you could ask for if he was off duty. Once we placed in a frisbee throwing contest and it wasn't my throwing skills, it was his athleticism. The other dog was Marmot the Varmint. She was a mixed breed of AKC hunting lab (the mom) and a sneaky little house dog lhasa/apso mis. All the puppies looked different, but they all had those short little legs. She was standoffish with strangers, but one time let a 1 year old baby use her for steadying himself when he tried to stand up. She would walk right up on a scaffolding and trot across the boards like she was on solid ground. They were both amazing dogs, but have crossed the rainbow bridge. I'm not sure if that's allowed in the contest, but they sure deserve it.
