More: Frankie is an SPCA rescue. I'm an employee of our local SPCA (Clark county, Ohio) and when she came in, rescued from the dog warden, I knew I had to have her. Some dogs adjust to shelter life and some don't. Frankie, formerly 'Cookie', did not. She had horrible anxiety, would bark constantly, drool and make messes in her cage. I was terrified no one else would ever take her. The second I put a collar on her and walked her out of her crate, her entire personality changed. She's so much calmer and happier now. She's exactly what our family needed.
