More: Freddy was a rescue. He and I found each other at a rescue event in Malibu, I was visiting family. Freddy broke free from his handler and came to me, the rest is history. We drove home to Oregon and he has been my buddy since then. He is the farm ambassador and greets all visitors who come to see our horses. He also is the boss of the household (two shepherds and an Irish setter). Freddy is just a good dog. He is good with children, and my 94 year old mother looks forward to his visits every week.
