More: Freya was part two of finding an alert dog for our son who is a type 1 diabetic. Freya is all fun and very attached to "dad" and so that didn't make her a good candidate as an alert dog. She has some natural ability but not quite the right temperament to be a working dog. She likes to sleep in the yard, chase squirrels and sleep late. She will take you for a walk but is really waiting for the recliner to go up so she can live out her dream of being an 80-lb lap dog.
