Frida

My Girl

More: I got Frida from a rescue knowing that she had been I’ll and had barely begun to recover. I did not know that she actually needed major surgery. I felt so bad that people do not get care they need and here I was going to spend nearly 2K on a dog I barely knew. But, I did tell her I was going to take care of her. She was the best buddy at my side always happy to be with me. She was accurate but not speedy at agility. She knew the click of the bail on the fishing reel and would come to help me bring in a fish. She skijored. She accompanied us on a week long donkey pack trip into the Cascades. She was watchful in the forest, and if she told me we should turn around I paid heed. She left us when her legs could no longer support her last August. I still shed tears rather often. She was my heart.
