More: I did not know I adopted an injured dog when I got Frida. I promised her a better life and went ahead with major surgery which removed the top of her femur before I even knew who she was. Great, is who she was. She was mild mannered and gentle. We went on to do very well in agility and she was a great hiking companion, tending to always be on the lookout. If she told me to leave an area, we did. She died in 2020. I miss her very much.
