More: Gela was the most amazing dog you'd ever meet -never met a person or dog she didn't love and always up for an adventure. We lost her last February to stomach cancer and our hearts are still broken. We started the GELA Foundation in her honor to help other rescues. Her name comes from a combo of my husband name and mine, we immediately knew she would be such a huge part of us and our hearts from the moment she rescued us.
