More: Georgie was bought in a local pet shop for $1000 and came with what looked like legitimate papers. As he started to grow and weighed 11 pounds I decided to take a test to confirm his true breed. It came back as a chihuahua/ spaniel and not a pure bred. I tried to get a refund and keep Georgie to no avail so I decided to take out a summons to appear in front of a judge. The owner of the puppy store refunded the full amount. We couldn’t have wished for a better dog. Georgie is now 14 and just as much fun as he was a puppy. Wherever we go people want to pet him or tell us he is a beautiful dog and always ask his breed.
