More: Grayson is our hospice dog dying of heartworm disease at the age of 3, yet living his best life still. We pulled him from the shelter to save him from euthanasia and we have been checking things off his bucket list. He was given one week to live, that was October 22nd. As of today, while his fur is getting dull and thin, his spirit is unchanged. We have been sharing his story and accomplishments on our rescue page to spread the awareness about heartworm disease risks. We have fallen in love completely with this spirited, demanding, opinionated bulldog and will be crushed when it’s his time to go but we’d do this all over again for just one day with this extraordinary dog.
