More: When Greta was 6 years old she was attacked by a bear in the southern woods of Vermont. She was able to survive the encounter with her quick moves and owner scaring the bear away by rushing at it. Since then her owners always carry a first aid kit of bear spray, dog sling, and yummy treats.
