More: Gus is a special boy. He was born with a condition called Megaesophagus. He must eat every meal upright in a Bailey chair. We were told he wouldn’t survive through puppy hood. His first owners wanted to euthanize him because of his condition at 8 weeks old. I am a veterinary nurse and they agreed to surrender him to me. He is currently 1.5 years old and is loving life. He loves the water, outdoors and his toys. He loves to hike and run. He is truly defying the odds and I want to get his story out there!
