More: Gus …Indiana Yellow Dog (part yellow lab/part meth lab) Gus was a rescue, adopted at 8 weeks but returned to the rescue a few months later for being too active. We had recently lost our 9 yr old lab to cancer, saw Gus’ smiling face and knew he was the one for us. We drove 3 hours one way after an ice storm to bring him home. And holy cow the energy!! It took countless walks, runs, and and games of “find it” to wear this guy out, but it finally worked. We can’t imagine a friendlier, more loving, athletic boy than our 7 year old goofy boy.
