More: Hallie is a beautiful much loved family member. This picture is in a favorite spot we often walk on our way to our cottage in Maine. In this picture she stands alone by the ocean. This year we lost my husband to cancer. He was beloved by myself and my children and especially his dogs. He hiked with them daily. We all, dogs included, grieve this huge loss. Hallie and her sister Belle have been an incredible source of strength for me throughout this sad time. So intuitive and loving. This photo, with Hallie’s expression, shows that dogs feel so very much. I see her strength to overcome.
