More: Hamish is the third Golden Retriever we have enjoyed. They have all been different and yet the same as Goldens are loving, tender and gentle. Hamish lives in the country and gets to run most days chasing smells and animals. He will sit by the window and watch the squirrels and pheasants and deer by the feeders and then chases their scent when we leave the house...He goes for long runs and loves to play with other dogs in the neighborhood...in the Summer the Missouri River runs by our home and sits patiently on the shore waiting for the perfect stick to float by so he can retrieve it...by summers end the shore is full of all his treasures. He has a sister Kitty named Eva who loves him and he tolerates and he has a litter mate in Minneapolis who lives with our daughter, named Hank. When they get together it is like the day they were born and the wrestle and fight and chase until they're exhausted. Hamish is the neighborhood favorite and runs with delight to see the kids come out to play. Hamish keeps my wife and I young at heart as we are not so young by age...
