More: Harold just retired from the life as a sled dog in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I worked with him for two winters; he was my best lead dog. 2 years after I moved away from Michigan, I found out he was retiring and I knew I wanted him to come live with me in my new home in Utah. So I drove across the country to get him, and he traded the snow for red rocks. He loves his new life out west! And I feel like we were always meant to be together.
