More: This photo was taken in 1983 at one of the beaches in Santa Cruz County, CA. Hazel LOVED the ocean and fetching a stick I'd throw out in the ocean to retrieve it. I lived in the mountains at the time and would drive her in my little VW Bug just to take her there. She would start pacing in the back seat as soon as she could smell it! She was like she was a puppy again.
