More: Heidi loves to swim! Unlike most German Shepherds Heidi is a water dog - both in my pond and also loves to body surf in the ocean on the RI shore. She's a wet dog from the time the ice goes out on my pond til it starts to freeze over. When she's not in the water, flying leaps to catch the frisbee or chasing down a chuck-it-ball are her favorite activities.
