More: Holmes is unlike any dog I have ever had. He is more human than he is dog. Intuitive and loving, he spent his first night home as a puppy sleeping nose to nose with me sharing my pillow. We adopted him at 2 months old from the local shelter and it was like he was just waiting to come home. He lives for a good hike, or walk in the woods, or ice cube to lick for dessert. He’s always willing to give the best high fives. He’s a total weirdo. And we love him so much for it.
