More: Homer became part of our family about 2 years ago after we lost our red heeler to age. He was surrendered to the local animal shelter by an elderly couple (we think on vacation in the area- not sure). He was pretty quiet initially but warmed up and is now a big, bounding …well, idiot. Sweet, affectionate nature with more than a little affinity for the creature comforts of the couch, recliner, lap….and we love him dearly. Thanks for considering our fine fellow- we think he’s a dandy!
