More: I found Honey running loose in the War in the Pacific National Park in Guam. A park ranger told me she’d been there for days, but no one could catch her. She came to my dog Charlie, and let me put his leash on her. That was 7 years ago, and she and Charlie have been my best hiking companions ever since. We live (and hike) in New Jersey these days, and we love it.
