More: Hoss was a rescue. He and his sister were left on the front lawn of the school where I taught 11 years ago. He has had no formal training, but is one of the finest retrievers we have ever had. He also loves to go fishing where he gets to retrieve and “kiss” every fish caught. Hoss is my favorite child!
