More: Hula is a retired racing greyhound who raced in Daytona, FL. After her retirement, she was adopted (by me & my husband) and dedicated her time becoming Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certified and certified Therapy Dog. She logged over 300 hrs. Visiting residents/patients of a skilled nursing home and children’s hospital. In her downtime, she enjoys walks, seeking human attention, having her teeth brushed, naps and educating her admirers about the “greyt” life she had during her race days as well as her current retirement. Greyhounds are prone to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) so continued and supported canine cancer research is paramount.
