Hunter

Socks in Snow! Making the best of the Great Texas Freeze

More: Hunter is the first dog I’ve ever belonged to. He came home with me from the shelter with pneumonia and he was severely malnourished - a skeleton on legs. Since then, he’s endured multiple surgeries, battled severe diskospondlytis (he’s winning) and most recently, he had a cancerous testicle removed from his abdomen (I guess his previous owners didn’t want to pay for that surgery). Hunter has been to the vet more times in the past year than most dogs in 10 lifetimes. He is as sweet as can be and is learning how to be a happy dog. He wags his tail a little more every day and really enjoyed the snow we got in Texas a few weeks ago. He did the first playbow I’ve ever seen him do to another dog during the snowfall!
