More: Ivy is my first non-rescue dog. I wasn’t planning on another dog after my first rescue passed 11 mos prior. She came into my life at the right time; at the beginning of the pandemic. ‘Mz Ivy Mae’ was a positive distraction during COVID; she was my virtual teaching buddy and a topic of discussion for my young students. She was my co-pilot upon delivering goodies to my students. I’m convinced she saved my sanity!
