Izzy Vom Riegelhaus West

Life is good...

More: I adopted Izzy when she was 11/2 years old. I was her 4th owner through no fault of hers. God was saving her for me. She had talent and enthusiasm for agility, protection, and dock diving. She also had her Advanced Good Canine Certification. I have a home in Oregon, and she loved to swim in the lakes, play in the snow, and ride in the kayak. She also loved the beach and playing in the ocean. She helped me train for two half marathons and we enjoyed running on the trails. She was also an excellent shopping companion. She went everywhere with me, and we had a lot of fun. Izzy had her right hind leg amputated January 2020 for osteosarcoma, followed by 6 doses of chemo at UC Davis. She was very brave through the whole process, and everyone loved her. She was put to rest in my arms December 30th due to metastatic disease. It broke my heart. I love her to infinity and beyond. Izzy was a gift to me. A gift that that will continue to give through donations to research and find a cure for osteosarcoma.
