More: Always focused, always alert, always talking, extremely loyal—he is a love bug. He herds chickens, horses and even us—on our way to the kitchen, we suddenly find ourselves in the living room. He is a rescue, found in New Mexico, in bad shape, running down a dirt road with a 15’ chain wrapped around his neck. It was apparent he had never been in a house before. He keeps us on schedule, on our toes, guards the house against all “scary delivery people,” and brings us so much happiness. His biggest joy is riding in the front seat of the ranch truck—he’s at home there, and in command. If he could speak he would constantly give directions on where to turn, which road to take, etc. He adores his people, and we can’t imagine life without him. ❤️
