More: We rescued Jake from the Humane Society when he was 8 weeks old. He's been my constant companion and friend on all life's adventures. Jake's happy taking long hikes through the mountains of the Catskills, or hopping in my kayak to paddle around the lake, or just lying with me all day in front of the fire on a snowy day. He's a loyal and true friend, and I couldn't imagine my life without him.
