More: My husband and I adopted Jax from a family who lived in a very small walk up apartment with an even smaller backyard. They did realize just how big he was going to get and how much exercise he was going to need. I found the ad on a dog adoption site and fell in love immediately. We called and made an appointment to meet, they felt so bad about having to give him up but understood that this was the best thing for Jax. My husband hunts and Jax would be a great companion for him, we have a very large backyard where he can run around and play! So this was a match made in heaven, and that is where we have been ever since we got him. I thank God everyday that we found each other. We could not have asked for a better companion.
