More: My Jax is a rescue dog. He was living in a car and not being cared for, getting Lyme disease and being fed Cheeto’s for food. My shelter called me (I was looking for a dog after having had to put my golden retriever down due to cancer) saying she had a sickly, scared little dog for me. After one night together I knew he was the one! Jax has brought me so much joy and is certainly living the life now! He has the best personality and makes me laugh every day. Who rescued who?
