More: Jax, in the foreground, passed away in 2018 after a short battle with lymphoma. This was his last backpacking trip and he enjoyed it immensely. His sister, Sophie, in the background is still kickin' and teaching her new brother all the sisterly skills she learned from her time with Jax. These two loved their Orvis coats and were especially proud to show them off while naturally posing riverside in West Virginia.
