More: Jill came into our lives as a stray from Texas in the summer of 2017. She was petrified of everyone, horribly malnourished, and suffering from a severe case of tick-borne Ehrlichiosis. She refused to even make eye contact with us for weeks. Once she finally let us examine her, we also found several BB bullets embedded in her neck, chest, and foreleg, indicating that she had been shot multiple times. And on top of all of this, she was pregnant. Despite her traumatic beginnings, we have seen a slow but steady progression towards trusting people again over the last four years. Jill is now loving life with her two canine sisters and lots of wonderful friends. She is such a sweet, happy and healthy little girl - we love her so very much!
