More: Joaquin was a rescue, found on the side of highway in driving rain. He was approximately 6 months old, malnourished and, even though he had been hours in the rain, so thirsty. When we got him home, he drank water until we had to take it away for his safety, then he slept for 5 hours. We woke him just to make sure he was okay. Took him to our vet and said if anyone calls looking for him, we would be taking care of him. Our vet said "no one will be looking for him, and if they do I'm not giving info that would put him back with them". We've loved him since the first minute, and he's returned that love 10 fold. He is a 130 pounds of sweetness.
