More: Joe lost his leg to cancer in October of last year. It was a shock to suddenly realize we had to amputate his leg, but it was what was needed to save his life. He came through it and the following chemo treatments like a champ. He is now cancer free and living his best life, chasing squirrels and going for walks. Even rain does not slow him down.
