More: Joe lost his front left leg to osteosarcoma in October of 2021. He received a prosthetic leg in 2023 and it has opened his world back up to longer walks, running and being able to pee without tipping over. I’m a therapist and he comes to work with me to inspire new amputees. He is an inspiration to everyone he meets and the epitome of a cancer survivor.
