More: Josie is the ultimate fishing dog. She happily follows wherever we wade, standing patiently until we hook up. In the boat, she is content to nap on top of the cooler -- until it's time to cool off, when she asks for the training dummy to be thrown overboard. As soon as you say "fetch", she is airborne -- splashes down, tracks the dummy in the current and chooses a strategic line to retrieve it, then heads to shore so we can pick her up. She supervises every hook-up and wants to inspect each fish landed. A great river buddy!
