More: Julio, and his litter mates, were left out in a box in AZ in the August heat. His 8 siblings perished from the heat and rain before someone noticed the box, looked inside and rushed the newborn puppies to Unconditional Love Pet Rescue where they did what they could to save the pups. Unfortunately, only Julio survived. We were told that he looked like a "scrawny terrior" when we got called as his adoptive parents, but after 3 or 4 weeks he gained 35 lbs and tripped in size! So we bought and Orivet DNA kit to see just what we had gotten ourselves into! Julio's results came back showing that he is 31.52% Labrador Retriever, 15.45 Australian Cattle Dog and Golden Retriever... he is almost 1 yr old and weighs in at approx. 80lbs - he is no scrawny terrior!
