More: Kate is a rescue that showed up three months after my beloved Rooby crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I had Rooby in my life for fourteen years and I took the loss very hard. I like to think that Kate was sent to me by Rooby to ease my grief. They even look similar! Kate is energetic and is the only dog I know that will stand on her back legs and give you an actual hug! She never leaves my side and cries when I leave the house…even to just check the mail! She LOVES to play with toys, so she has a toy box full. Her favorite, however, is her squeaky banana which she will run through the house with for hours. She’s a precious girl that rescued me just as I rescued her.
